Privacy on GamesVeil

GamesVeil is the marketplace brand operated by Seven Codes Studio. Existing accounts, purchases and publishing agreements remain unchanged.

Digital Shopping

Stripe processes payments on their secure page. Card details are entered into Stripe; our site does not receive or save them. Stripe may request an email and other information necessary to process the payment. You can consult your Privacy Policy.

In the Google Cloud infrastructure we store the order identifier, product and file version, price, currency, dates, payment status and Stripe references to confirm the purchase, deliver the file and address incidents. Refund or dispute events may suspend new downloads. We maintain the records necessary to fulfill the purchase and comply with applicable registration obligations.

Accounts and Library

To purchase you need an account. We store your username, display name, hashed password, account status, and sessions in Google Cloud. We link orders to your account to display your purchases in My Library and allow you to redownload the purchased version from other devices. This data is not sent to analytics or turning your account into an advertising list.

Friends and private messages

We store friend requests, their responses, blocks, and messages in the Google Cloud infrastructure, linked to participating accounts. Messages are shown to authorized participants in the conversation. Adding a user requires that you accept the request before you can chat. Blocking someone prevents new messages and requests between those accounts; does not automatically delete retained history. We do not send messages or conversation content to Analytics or advertising services.

Game community and collections

We store the games and creators you follow to prepare your release feed. Your following list stays private and does not subscribe you to promotional email or create a friendship.

Game questions and official developer answers are public and show the author’s username. Reports and moderation details are restricted to authorized users. Use private Support for account or purchase issues.

Collections start private. You can explicitly share a collection publicly or make it private again. Your purchase library and private conversations are not published with a collection. A private setting cannot remove copies that other people have already made outside GamesVeil.

Requests to the Founding Developers pilot use the existing private developer support history. They are not added automatically to a promotional mailing list.

Purchase and account cookies

We use cookies necessary for your account session, payment attempt, and previous guest orders. The session lasts a maximum of eight hours and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity; You can log in again to check your library. The attempt cookie lasts up to one hour. Access to previous purchases as a guest lasts up to 30 days from creating the order; It can be linked to an account from the original browser for as long as it is still valid. Cookies do not contain your card, password or Stripe keys. If you lose access to your account or a previous purchase, contact GamesVeil support to request recovery after verifying ownership.

Games submitted by developers

The portal saves the game listing, proposed price, platform, version, requirements, support email and declaration of rights linked to your account. Files are uploaded to private Google Cloud storage and retained for up to 30 days while they are prepared for publication. The author and authorized review team may request a temporary download of the file. We verify its format and integrity; Receiving it or approving your review does not automatically publish it or trigger sales. You can delete a draft listing from the portal; Your private files expire according to that deadline.

Optional marketplace measurement

Browsing statistics are optional. Only after you allow them, the marketplace counts page views and approximate visits by browser tab within a 30-minute activity window. These are not unique people. We classify the source as direct, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, search, other or unknown. No full URLs, search text, names, emails, account IDs or authentication cookies are sent to this measurement service. It does not use Google Analytics or Google Ads.

Your statistics choice is stored in this browser, separately from account access. You can decline or change it using the statistics options in the store. Declining clears the tab measurement state and stops future browsing events; it does not affect accounts, purchases, downloads or saved games. Open store statistics options

Separate aggregate operational counts record successful account registrations, free acquisitions, paid confirmations and download authorizations to monitor marketplace activity. These counts do not depend on optional browsing consent and are not linked to visits or traffic sources. An authorized download link does not prove a completed download or installation. Aggregates and opaque deduplication receipts are retained for up to 90 days, subject to automatic deletion processing. No individual customer records are shown in these statistics.

Support requests

Support requests and replies are kept in your private support history and shown only to authorized users. Verified email notifications are optional and follow your account settings.
